The Freelands of Scotland

I have been performing live music concerts from my home studio, west of Nashville, TN, into the virtual world of Second Life since May of 2006. When I started these multidimensional shows there was less than 10 people or so doing it. Now, years later, there are thousands performing in the virtual world. In the realm of our modern day technology pace and advancements, six years is a very long run. I have done over 1200 live concerts and the audiences are still enthusiastic, and the venue owners and patrons are just as entrepreneurial as ever. Venues have surely come and gone as well as the patrons. But many have been supporting music since almost the beginning of new realm of virtual concerts in the global grid of virtual space.

Most recently, I have started doing a regular concert series twice a month in the Freelands of Scotland in Second Life. Occasionally, I venture into InWorldz virtual world to do a concert, but still the best supportive audience is in Second Life. Despite any media about the "failure" of Second Life, they are just not in touch with what is really going on in world. Don't listen to them. We are still dealing with millions of members. I for one, am surely grateful for the support of my audience in world. A big thank you for continuing to let me serve music your way. Performing live from my home studio to a global audience has been extremely satisfying. I will continue on for as long as there are listeners and participators.
